This website provides information on the epidemiology of esophageal cancer, including incidence, risk factors, protective factors and screening/surveillance opportunities. Blog publications contain a curated summary of recent research findings with an emphasis on esophageal adenocarcinoma. It is developed and maintained by Thomas L Vaughan MD, MPH ©2019-24, who is Professor Emeritus in Cancer Epidemiology at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center and University of Washington.
